In order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional solid wood RV flooring, we developed a vinyl leather thermoplastic PP honeycomb composite panel for use as a new type of RV floor.

This kind of panel is made of CFRT skin and PP honeycomb core laminated by hot melt, and the surface is covered with leather texture to make the RV floor more aesthetic.

Disadvantages of traditional solid wood flooring

Too Heavy The wooden floor itself is bulky, which is a very adverse factor for the long-term use of RVs.

Prone to Mold and Rot An inherent shortcoming of wooden boards is that they are not waterproof. When used as RV flooring, they will inevitably come into contact with various liquids. If things go on like this, mold and rot will occur.

Easily Deformable Solid wood flooring is made up of thin wooden veneers that are reorganized in a criss-cross pattern. Its own structure causes the floor to easily deform, warp, crack and other problems, affecting its use.

High Maintenance Cost Daily attention needs to be paid to keeping solid wood floors dry and clean. Do not wet the mop with water or scrub with alkaline water or soapy water to avoid damaging the brightness of the paint and damaging the paint film. Its overall maintenance cost is higher.

Not Long Service Life Due to the various factors mentioned above, the actual service life of solid wood RV flooring is only about 10 years. During this period, you will also need to perform frequent maintenance and renovations, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive.
