At present, the transportation methods of petroleum resources are mainly sea transportation and pipeline transportation. Although shipping by sea is relatively cost-effective, the overall transportation cycle is long and you may encounter various dangers along the way. Pipeline transportation generally uses traditional metal material pipelines, which can realize uninterrupted oil transportation. However, metal materials have a short lifespan and limited service life, so it is of great significance to find a high-performance material to replace traditional metal materials.

After extensive experimental verification, oil pipelines made using thermoplastic unidirectional tapes have reduced mass by 50% compared with traditional metal materials. Moreover, UD tapes have very good corrosion resistance, which greatly saves later maintenance costs and unnecessary waste of resources.
Structure of the RTP Pipes
It usually consists of three layers. The inner and outer layers are made of PE80, PE100 or above materials. The outer layer can be selected as white (surface laying to prevent ultraviolet rays) or black (buried laying) as needed. The middle reinforcement layer is made of UD tapes that are composite wound.

TOPOLO Thermoplastic Unidirectional Tapes
- Professional Production: Our factory has a self-developed latest thermoplastic composite material production line. It ensures high-speed production of high-quality thermoplastic fiberglass unidirectional tapes.
 - High Impact Resistance: The UD tape we produce is firmly structured, with a strong impact resistance 6-10 times higher than traditional FRP products.
 - Excellent Weather Resistance: Our unidirectional tape can withstand low temperatures of -60℃, high temperatures of 120℃. It is waterproof, moisture-proof, and UV-resistant. Suitable for making Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes (RTP), which are widely used in oil, natural gas, wastewater treatment and other fields.
 - Environmental Protection: As a thermoplastic resin material, unidirectional tape can be heated, recycled and reused, making it more integrated into the environment.
