Refrigerated trucks are an important tool for transporting frozen and fresh goods. In order to ensure better insulation effects, the selection of materials for the trucks is very critical. Lightweight and insulating continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRT) materials have full application advantages in this regard.

Excellent Performance of CFRT Sheets
- Lightweight and High-strength: The composite panels of refrigerated trucks are required to be lightweight, non-deformable, and have no gaps within the panels. Using CFRT as the skin material of composite panels can be 35% lighter than GRP panels. At the same time, its toughness is 100% stronger than GRP sheets.
- Good Thermal Insulation Effect: The composite panel made of CFRT and foam core has excellent thermal insulation performance and can also achieve better cooling effect inside the truck body.
- Corrosion-resistant: Continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites have great corrosion resistance. It has good chemical stability to the atmosphere, water, acid, alkali, salt and other media, can keep the surface clean for a long time without losing its luster, and is resistant to corrosion, sunlight and aging.
- Easy to Clean and Maintain: Usually, you can also cover the surface with a layer of PP/PVC/PET protective film to make the truck body smoother and easier to clean. The maintenance of the insulated and refrigerated truck box composite panels is very convenient, and there are no obvious traces after maintenance.
- Environmentally Friendly: CFRT material itself is non-toxic, odorless and 100% recyclable. It is one of the typical representatives of sustainable materials. Refrigerated trucks made of it are also more in line with the trend of green development.
