CFRT PVC sandwich panel is a new type of composite material, which is composed of CFRT (continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic) board and rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride) foam plus adhesive. We know that PVC sandwich panels are lightweight and thermally insulating, which makes them used in many fields. Different skin materials will have different effects on its performance. For example, wood will reduce its strength and metal will reduce its thermal insulation performance. The invention of CFRT PVC sandwich panel is to replace the foam sandwich panel with fiberglass, pre-coated steel, aluminum or stainless steel or other material skin.

Its advantages are reflected in:
- Lightweight.
- Water and corrosion resistant.
- Thermal insulation.
- Stable structure.
- Easy to process.
Specifications

Surface Treatment | Glossy/Matte. |
Thickness | 10~120mm. |
Width | Max 2.8m. |
Length | Max 12m. |
Schematic Diagram
- The surface of the CFRT sheet is covered with a protective film to enhance its anti-scratch performance and provide aesthetic effects.
- The middle layer consists of multiple layers of UD tapes laid in different directions. (usually 2~3 layers)
- The non-woven fabric at the bottom allows it to be well combined with other material systems.

The cell structure of closed-cell PVC foam is closed, and the bubbles inside the structure have no interconnecting channels. This structure makes it lightweight, waterproof, and corrosion-resistant. Compared with other foams (XPS, PU, PET, etc.), the distinguishing feature of PVC foam is its high strength and thermal insulation performance.

The strength of the adhesive is the key to ensuring the stable performance of the sandwich panel. Our high-performance environmentally friendly glue is heat-resistant and low-temperature resistant. It has no peculiar smell after solidification, no volatilization and will not cause harm to the human body.

Application Areas
Due to its excellent performance, CFRT PVC sandwich panels have wider application areas than other foam system sandwich panels. It can be used in projects that require a series of requirements such as lightweight, thermal insulation, and waterproofing.
Its applications include but are not limited to:
- RV bodies: travel trailers, motrohomes, caravans, etc.
- Box trucks: refrigerated trucks, dry freight trucks.
- Subfloor: recreational vehicles, yachts, buses, subways, etc.
- Building interior: wall panels, partitions, ceilings, interior doors, cabinets, etc.
